Alisa Korn

Deputy Director

Alisa Korn was promoted to Deputy Director of the Housing Commission in 2023.  Prior to that, she served as the Program Manager  since 2016.  As Program Manager, she oversees the many different housing programs that we offer and is the direct liaison between our clients and the services we provide. She takes pride in knowing each of our clients personally, and being a face and a name you know when working with our Housing Commission.

Raised in Florida, she moved to the snowy north in high school with her family. After graduating from Traverse City Central High School, she stayed in the Grand Traverse area raising her four children, completing her education, and serving in both appointed and elected offices in our local government. On most days she can be found driving children to various sports, in search of the perfect taco with her husband, participating in her many volunteer activities, or planning her next personal adventure overseas.
